We’d like to invite your church to join the “CUIP 2020 24/7” citywide prayer initiative for a year of unending worship and prayer as we gather as the collective Body of Christ to undergird our city with a perpetual united prayer chain.

Each month, there will be scripture and prayer points here on the CUIP website. Please feel free to use them as a launching point to your prayer meeting! We will also be posting thoughts on prayer from one of Chicago’s Pastors.

If you would like to sign your church up to do at least one hour of prayer each week, (or add your church’s current weekly prayer meeting) please fill out the form below. You will receive a follow up email giving you greater detail.

And will not God bring about justice for His chosen ones, who cry out to Him day and night? Will He keep putting them off?  I tell you, He will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?”

– Luke 18:7-8

We have expectant hearts that this prayer initiative will empower our intercession in an even greater way as we undergird this city with strategic intercession all year long.

Please be encouraged and emboldened in your prayer meeting as we agree in faith for the “prayer points” that will be posted on the CUIP website at the beginning of each month. Each prayer point is only a springboard into praying what the Lord gives you during your prayer meeting.

Women's History Month

  • Pray for the women of faith in Chicago, that they would abound in love and in discernment as they minister all over the city, in every sphere of society.
  • Pray for deep healing in relationships and for new friendships to develop among women of faith, creating a great network of unity and cooperation.
  • Pray for the women who have labored on the front lines of Chicago, that they would see the fruit of their labor released to this city and to their families.

“And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.” Philippians 1:9-11

  • Pray for the release of great boldness to those  ministering to prostituted, trafficked and homeless women in Chicago.
  • Pray the safety of women doing street evangelism and peace corners.
  • Pray for the release of signs and wonders as women of faith in our city minister to the oppressed and brokenhearted.

“Lord… grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand
to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus. And when they
had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy
Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.”

Acts 4:29-31

Chicago Police Department

  • Pray for women in our Chicago Police Department, that they would be strengthened with might, through the Spirit of Christ, in their inner man.
  • Pray for healing of any trauma, stress or oppression due to the high level intensity of their jobs.
  • Pray for renewed zeal and love in their relationship with Jesus Christ, that they would sense His Presence continually with them in their workplace.

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, (would be) rooted and grounded in love..”

Ephesians 3:14-17
