We’d like to invite your church to join the “CUIP 2020 24/7” citywide prayer initiative for a year of unending worship and prayer as we gather as the collective Body of Christ to undergird our city with 24/7 prayer.

Each month, there will be scripture and prayer points here on the CUIP website as a launching point to your prayer meeting, as well as a short teaching on prayer from one of Chicago’s Pastors.

If you would like to sign your church up to do at least one hour of prayer each week, (or add your church’s current weekly prayer meeting) please fill out the form below. You will receive a follow up email giving you greater detail.

And will not God bring about justice for His chosen ones, who cry out to Him day and night? Will He keep putting them off?  I tell you, He will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?”

– Luke 18:7-8

We have expectant hearts that this prayer initiative will empower our intercession in an even greater way as we undergird this city with strategic intercession 24/7 all year long.

Please be encouraged and emboldened in your prayer meeting as we agree in faith for the “prayer points” that will be posted on the CUIP website at the beginning of each month. Each prayer point is only a springboard into praying what the Lord gives you during your prayer meeting.

  • Pray for a fresh revelation of the beauty and magnificence of Jesus to be released to the Church of Chicago.
  • Pray that we might walk in our calling and destiny, by God’s power, as the united Body of Christ in Chicago.
  • Pray for our annual Chicagoland United in Prayer gathering on January 26, 2020.

“That the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may KNOW [experience] what is the hope of His calling [assurance/clarity of God’s call for our life], what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints [our destiny as Jesus’ inheritance], and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.” (Eph. 1:17-19)

  • Pray for an even greater spirit of unity and collaboration in 2020 as both prayer and justice take place in Chicago.
  • Pray for greater opportunities to win souls and help those in need in our city.
  • Pray for an increase of the Spirit of prayer on the leaders of churches and ministries.

“May the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another…that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the…Father…May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Rom. 15:5-6, 13)

  • Pray for deliverance to those involved in gangs, at every level.
  • Pray for the safety of youth as they exit their gang. That there would be no retaliation or “initiating out”. Pray for healing and forgiveness in their family.
  • Pray that they would surrender to the Lordship of Jesus, get connected to a church and be discipled.

“That your love may abound still more and more in knowledge [of God] and all discernment, that you may approve [rejoice in] the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere [no compromise] and without offense till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness.” (Phil. 1:9-11)
